On November 27, the Baltic Capital Markets Acceleration Fund took part in the Baltic Capital Markets Conference in Riga – one of the key regional events bringing together investors, policymakers, advisors and Baltic business leaders shaping the future of the region’s capital markets. The conference served as an important platform to discuss how the Baltics can expand access to capital, strengthen investor confidence and support more companies on their path toward public markets.

As part of the programme, Rokas Žemaitis, CFA, Fund Partner at 1 Asset Management, participated in the panel discussion titled “Baltic investor universe: a journey to market maturity.” Together with other industry experts, he explored how the Baltic investor landscape is evolving on the path toward a more mature market. Drawing on experience from launching the region’s first pre-IPO fund, Rokas emphasised that clear and transparent cash-flow logic and a strong governance structure are essential fundamentals for companies aiming for a successful IPO — the kind of foundations that build lasting investor confidence.

We were pleased to meet conference participants, company founders, CFOs and advisors in Riga to discuss financing needs, growth plans and potential collaboration opportunities. For companies considering raising capital, preparing for an IPO or exploring strategic alternatives, these conversations provided a valuable opportunity to connect and outline future ambitions.
