Growth capital and the path to public markets

How can growth financing help a company prepare for public markets? In Sorainen’s “Meet the Baltic Private Equity Players” interview series, Rokas Zemaitis, Partner at Baltic Capital Markets Acceleration Fund (BCMAF), explores this topic with Sorainen Partner Laimonas Skibarka.
The EUR 50 million fund provides growth capital to SMEs and innovative mid-caps. Its investments range from EUR 2–7 million, with total financing per transaction reaching approximately EUR 4–15 million alongside co-investors. By taking significant minority stakes, BCMAF enables founders and management teams to retain operational control.
In the interview, Rokas discusses the fund’s investment approach and how the right capital structure can support business growth while preparing a company for an IPO or bond issue.
